Spotlight

Hello Ayrshire enthusiasts! My name is Brooklyn Schwoerer and I will be serving as your 2024 – 2025 treasurer. I am the 18 year old daughter to Rick Schwoerer and Mina Gumieny. My background in dsiry began on my parents dairy farm, Red Rock Ayrshires, where we milk 62 cows, half of which are registered Ayrshires. My love for the Ayrshire breed began at the age of 3, when I was able to exhibit my first Ayrshire. Since then I have been able to grow my own herd of Ayrshires and exhibit them at the local, state, and national levels. I’m currently a freshman at the University of Wisconsin Madison, majoring in Dairy Science with a certificate in Agricultural Business Management with intentions to work with dairy cattle genetics in the future. I look forward to spreading my knowledge about the Ayrshire breed and connecting with other junior members throughout the upcoming year.
